About Us

Tony and Lizzie Gilks are qualified Tourist Guides with more than 30 years experience between them in interacting with groups of all ages.

Timespan is an exciting approach to historical presentations covering a wide range of subjects and events during the last millennium. Social history includes looking at life styles and conditions of men, women and children from all levels of society in Britain and important events that have shaped our democracy.
Tony and Lizzie Gilks' combined knowledge and extensive collections of memorabilia and artefacts are used to present a fascinating array of historical talks, bringing the past to life, using artefacts to illustrate their costumed presentations in a humorous and lively manner.
Each talk runs for an hour with an opportunity to answer any questions the audience might have as well as encouraging members of the group to view and handle the items with care. Our lectures are ideal for Associations, Clubs and Societies, created to enthral a wide range of audiences.
